Your data, handled with care. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how you stay in control.

Last updated April 19, 2026 · Effective April 19, 2026

Quick Shot Paddles ("Quick Shot Paddles," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit quickshotpaddles.com, use QSConnect, or make a purchase from us. By using our site or services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us and information generated automatically when you use our services:

  • Account information — name, email address, phone number, and profile details you choose to add when you create an account. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider (Firebase Authentication); we do not see or store your password.
  • Order and payment information — items purchased, order totals, and order status. Checkout, billing, shipping addresses, and payment details are collected and stored by our PCI-compliant processor (Shopify). We do not store full payment card numbers or your shipping address on our servers; we receive only the minimum information needed to fulfill and reference your order.
  • Marketing preferences — email subscriptions, discount code interactions, and communication preferences.
  • Support communications — messages you send to support, warranty claims, and contact form submissions.
  • Device and usage data — IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, and interactions with our site collected via cookies and analytics tools.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Process orders, fulfill purchases, and handle returns and warranty claims.
  • Create and manage your Quick Shot Paddles account.
  • Send transactional emails such as receipts, shipping updates, and account notices.
  • Send marketing emails about new products, promotions, and content — only where you have opted in or where permitted by law. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • Personalize your experience, including product recommendations and tailored content.
  • Prevent fraud, enforce our Terms of Service, and keep our site secure.
  • Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

3. Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your cart, analyze traffic, and improve the site. Categories include:

  • Essential — required for cart, checkout, and authentication.
  • Analytics — aggregated usage data (e.g., Google Analytics) to understand and improve the experience.
  • Marketing — to measure campaign performance and personalize marketing. We integrate with services such as Klaviyo for email delivery.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the site from working.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

  • Service providers that help us operate the business — payment processors (Shopify, Stripe), email providers (Klaviyo), hosting and analytics providers, and shipping carriers — under agreements that require them to protect your data.
  • Legal and safety — when required to comply with law, respond to subpoenas, or protect our rights, customers, or the public.
  • Business transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may transfer to the successor, subject to this policy.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — encryption in transit (HTTPS), encryption at rest, access controls, and periodic reviews — to protect your information. No system is 100% secure; please use a strong, unique password and contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Request deletion of your personal information.
  • Opt out of marketing emails (unsubscribe link in every email).
  • Restrict or object to certain processing.
  • Receive a copy of your information in a portable format.

California (CCPA/CPRA), Virginia, Colorado, and other U.S. state law residents have additional rights, including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise any right, email us at support@quickshotpaddles.com.

8. Children's Privacy

Our site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. International Visitors

Quick Shot Paddles operates from the United States. If you access our services from outside the U.S., your information will be processed in the U.S., which may have different data protection rules than your country.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top and, for material changes, provide additional notice (e.g., via email or a notice on the site).
